One of the purposes of our existence is to be happy and make others also happy. Indradhanush-2011 is an annual event of Aashayein Foundation where children will showcase their talent in drawing, painting, singing, dance and other activities. Children will have fun in the company of lovable Santa Claus, get gifts, decorate Christmas Tree, enjoy magic show & DJ show. So, come along with your children and give them the gift of Smile and Happiness. Teaching services are continued at DBR Mills Govt School, Andhra UPS, P S Bhuvana and Susheela Memorial schools. Murthy Sir, who was associated with the organization for the past 36 months, has chosen to pursue other interests. He will always be remembered for his invaluable service. Sunday Breakfast Activity
SBA Report – 18th Dec 2011 Last Sunday (18th Dec) SBA was carried out at Amanvedika, Warasiguda. We reached the place around 8:00 AM. since it was a Sunday, kids got ready a little late, so we had to wait for the breakfast to be served a little later. After the breakfast was served it was time for fun. It was full of dancing, singing, riddles etc.. we really had a blast out there being with the kids. 10th & 11th Dec 2011	Movie for a Cause – 2012 Aashayein Hyderabad is organizing the most rejoicing event “Movie for a Cause – 2012” where more than 200 children will be the audience. The event is slated for January 2012. A similar event has been conducted in Summer Camp-2009 and it was a great success. The photographs of it can be viewed here. This initiative has also been featured in an article in Deccan Chronicle Hyd edition, 6th Dec 2011. Read the article here. Below is the list of activities and we are inviting nominations for them. 1.       Social Media & Marketing Team: Create buzz about the event on FB. 2.       Sponsorship Team: Finding sponsors for the event. 3.       Marketing Team: Need to talk to PVR and Prasad’s management and finalize the itinerary. 4.       Sales Team: Should help in the sale of approx 125-150 tickets which will start 2-3 weeks before the event.  5.       Media & Press Team: This will be required from Jan 1st week. Volunteers should get in touch with some of the TV channels and Newspapers folks to cover our event. 6.       Logistics & D-Day Team: Require volunteers from Jan 1st week. You can take part in the event by - ·         Nominating yourself for any one of the teams. ·         Taking leadership for any of the activities. ·         Identifying sponsors and let us know ASAP. Once you have nominated yourself, we can start working as teams. Please send your nomination to info.hyd@aashayeinfoundation.org mentioning the team you would want to be in. Come, let’s make it happen once again. Take part in it and bring smiles to the faces of the cutie pies!! :)

Directions: From Secunderabad come towards Bata, on the way you will reach Railway Bridge. there you will find MCH Library building towards your left side, Ashram is located in the same premises of it. Number of kids: 35 between age group 7 to 21 and 3 staff Breakfast Timing: 7:30 AM to 8:00AM SBA Contact Person:  Srinath 9676199473 SBA Report – 4th Dec 2011 Last week (4th dec,2011), SBA activity was carried out at AMMA Foundation, SAROOR NAGAR. We reached the place around 8AM. Kids were ready by the time we reached. Then breakfast was served and after interaction with a few kids we left the place. The ashram is well maintained and the most impressive thing was the way they have become self sufficient. No specific needs were to be seen because of their planning. Special thanks to Avyaktha from Dilsuknagar for sponsoring the breakfast.

SBA Report – 27th Nov 2011 The Sunday breakfast activity on the 27th of November, at the Ashray Akruti- NonProfit Org, Begumpet was a great experience. There are 60 hearing impaired inmates, with an age group 8- 14 years. By the time we reached ashram, kids were enjoying watching Star Movies. We got a grand welcome from kids. After a little chit chat, we served Idly and Vada as breakfast. Later, we spent some time with kids and we left the ashram by 11pm. Thanks to Vidhi Nagori, TMI Network for sponsoring  the breakfast.
