Film Chale Hum – 2012
Aashayein Hyderabad is organizing the most rejoicing event “Film Chale Hum – 2012” where more than 200 children will be the audience. The event will be on 12th Feb 2012.  A similar event has been conducted in Summer Camp-2009 and it was a great success. The photographs of it can be viewedhere.  This initiative has also been featured in an article in Deccan Chronicle Hyd edition, 6th Dec 2011. Read the article here. Below is the list of activities and we are inviting nominations for them. ·     Social Media & Marketing Team: Create buzz about the event on FB. ·     Sponsorship Team: Finding sponsors for the event. ·     Marketing Team: Need to talk to PVR and Prasad’s management and finalize the itinerary. ·     Sales Team: Should help in the sale of approx 125-150 tickets which will start 2-3 weeks before the event. ·     Media & Press Team: This will be required from Jan 1st week. Volunteers should get in touch with some of the TV channels and Newspapers folks to cover our event. ·     Logistics & D-Day Team: Require volunteers from Jan 1st week. You can take part in the event by – ·     Nominating yourself for any one of the teams. ·     Taking leadership for any of the activities. ·     Identifying sponsors and let us know ASAP. Once you have nominated yourself, we can start working as teams. Please send your nomination toinfo.hyd@aashayeinfoundation.org mentioning the team you would want to be in. Contact: Srinath 9676199473 If you would like to sponsor breakfast on any occasion, please write to info.hyd@aashayeinfoundation.org Report of SBA on 8th Jan 2012 Last Sunday (8th Jan,2012) SBA was carried out at Sannihita Rainbow ashram for Girls, Parklane, Secunderabad. We reached the place around 8:30 AM. Kids were getting ready for their school (it was a working day on Sunday due to previous holidays).  After the breakfast kids left for the school and we had a talk to the organizer about the kids. It was a place well maintained with not much of any specific needs to be addressed immediately. We left the place early as kids have left to their schools. The place is in need of a any person who can go there on a regular basis and teach mathematics the kids (sort of tuitions).. Thanks to Kanchan Madam from IBS for sponsoring the breakfast….
Shikshana Abhiyana
Teaching sessions will not be held this weekend at DBR Mills Govt School, Andhra UPS, P S Bhuvana and   Susheela Memorial schools due to Sankranti (Pongal) Holidays. Need SA volunteers for Susheela Memorial, Punjagutta. Currently we have only 3 volunteers. AF at ISB and IBS
AF team members were invited for Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC), Asia - Africa Round as panel members for evaluating business plans at Indian School of Business (ISB). It was a great experience for the team which consisted of Suyash Chopra, Deepti Alla and Rishabh Gunjal and they visited ISB campus on Sunday. AF team visited Icfai Business School (Hyd campus) on Sunday for the recruitment of student recruitments who will work on projects in Aashayein for 3 months. Thanks to Mr. Sahilendra Bisht, faculty from IBS, for coordinating this recruitment. Thanks to Raj, Manali and Reshmi for being student coordinators. AF team comprised of Suyash, Swapna, Ritesh, Vijay, Anji, Swetha and Fouzia.
